Overview
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course in organizational behavior encompasses the study of individual and
group behavior in organizational settings. Managing organizational behavior
challenges individuals to understand and embrace workforce diversity, elements of
change, effective communication, and performance systems. A comprehensive review
of these processes, as well as others, will allow students to examine their role
in organizations in the new millennium.

Using the DiSC® Platinum Rule Assessment completed in Workshop Four, analyze the effectiveness of the communication process utilized by your Learning Team members. Compare and contrast each team member’s predominant behavioral style and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your Learning Team as a whole. Relate the DiSC® Platinum Rule Assessment results to the reading assignments and class lectures. Provide recommendations for the improvement of your Learning Team’s behavioral styles.
